The World Health Organization recognizes the benefits of breastfeeding in the development of babies, and recommends nursing exclusively for the first six months, then combining nursing with other foods for up to two years and beyond.
Room for 2 is a pro-breastfeeding establishment, and you can often find nursing mothers with their feet up in one of our cozy changerooms, taking a break from shopping to feed their babies. In addition to providing a comfortable place for mothers to nurse on Commercial Drive, we carry many products related to breastfeeding.

When renting a pump, you choose between a single kit (for pumping one breast at a time) or a double kit (for pumping both at once). The first ten days of rental are pre-paid when you pick up the pump and a credit card is required when renting the pump.
The rental rates are charged on a per-day basis, and these rates are discounted if the pump is kept longer than 60 days. |
Purely Yours - Basic | | This is a double electric breast pump, suitable for women who are returning to full- or part-time work and want to continue providing their baby with breastmilk. They're also helpful for women who want to increase their milk supply or want to store larger quantities of breastmilk. |
Purely Yours - Backpack | | This double electric pump is suitable for the same situations as the Basic version, but this one comes with a travel backpack, six 4oz bottles, a refrigerated carry tote, and a car adapter. |
